Event Information/Rules of the land

*Branch Brook Campground is a beautiful private campground situated right on the Pemigewassett River in the White Mountains of Newhampshire. Please respect the rules of the campground and the rights of all other campers.
*Car camping area is located in fairly flat level fields surrounded by woods. There are showers on site as well as flush toilets and porta-potties.
*Music will begin approx. 3pm Friday and will wrap up around 4:30pm on Sunday. Gates for event open at 9am friday.
* Sites with hook-ups are available exclusively through Branch Brook Campground and do not include ticket price . see www.campnh.com
*No vending without a vending pass. In addition to our basic vendor's pass there will be a limited number of camping area-merchandise vendor's passes availble to ticketholders day of show.....more info. forthcoming.
*This is a rain or shine event. Be prepared for wet as well as hot days and possible chilly evenings.
* All tickets are non refundable.
* $2 from every ticket will go to The Northeast Wilderness Trust for forest protection in NH.
* In addition we will be making incremental donations to The Northeast Wilderness Trust as we reach predetermined goals of attendance...more details coming soon! Come be a part of the solution!
* We will hold a raffle with all proceeds to go to The Northeast Wilderness Trust.
* No fireworks, firearms, illegal substances or weapons of any kind.
* No open fires except in designated areas.
* No dogs allowed. However, Branch Brook Campground does allow some pets for guests in their campsites which are seperate from festival camping, see www.campnh.com
* Glass will not be allowed on festival grounds. If you must bring glass/bottles please use plastic/paper cups.
* A primary focus of Forestjam is sustainable living practices. We are asking that everybody pitch in to decrease our impact on the land. This includes recycling and keeping the scene clean. We will have recycling containers available throughout the festival grounds and we are asking that all food vendors use biodegradable/recyclable flatware/dishes/beverage containers.
* Jamming with acoustic instruments encouraged in the camping/parking areas.
* There will be a bonfire near the mainstage entrance Friday and Saturday nights!
* We will feature Almost Acoustic Sunday!- Sunday will be a full day of acoustic roots music!

LODGING
There are a variety of other hotel/motels and campgrounds in the area . Checking with chambers of commerce in either Campton, Thornton or Woodstock would be a good start.
VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for a limited number of good people to volunteer some time working at the festival in exchange for a 3 day camping pass. Volunteers will be required to work 2 four hr. shifts and must be able to attend volunteer meeting at 8am, Friday Aug. 22. We will need people for the following tasks; tickets/parking/cleanup crew/stagehelpers/event setup and teardown.
